Fairy Day Blog Hop - Day 2
Welcome to my part of the Fairy Day Blog Hop for Day 2. You should have started at Creations By Gill M and come here from there!
I made two similar projects for today.
For both of my projects I used SVG Cuts Spring Birdhouse set with the gourd birdhouse. The paper on the first one is K & Company's Que Sera Sera. The fairy is cut from a page out of the Once Upon A Time stack.
This second fairy house is my favorite by far. The cute little fairy is actually a photo of my now 13-year-old daughter when she was 3! I had to scan it in because I couldn't find the disc (imagine not being able to fine a disc after 10 years and a move!), so I lost some of the picture quality. The "for lease" sign is from the same photo. I did put a little "pixie dust" in the form of some Martha Stewart Sugar Cube iridescent glitter on her wings. The butterfly is from The Graphics Fairy. I printed it out twice and glittered the top layer with Martha's Orange Sorbet iridescent glitter.
I'd like to think this sweet little fairy outgrew her home and was "showing" it to the butterfly. The paper for the gourd birdhouse is from the Once Upon a Time stack and the leaves and vines are from K & Co's Que Sera Sera.
Don't forget to collect your hidden letters along the hop and unscramble them for a chance to win some candy from Gill.
Thanks for stopping by to have a look at my projects. Next on the hop is Jalisa. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
