Ghosts and Goblins...Oh My!
Welcome to my stop on Nicolette's Ghosts and Goblins Blog Hop. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love seeing the kids get dressed up, decorating and passing out candy. We usually only get a few trick-or-treaters, but I make it well worth the effort for them. One year, I had just one and boy did that little guy clean up! He was maybe two or three and he got pretty much the whole bowl of goodies I got to pass out. I'm sure his parents were thrilled. Anyway, if you're in the Choctaw, Oklahoma area and know where I live, bring your kids to trick-or-treat, I've already bought my treats.
You should have come here from Robin's blog. If you jumped in the middle of the hop and want to start at the beginning, click on Nicolette's link above.
I have three project for the first day of the blog hop. They are all created with Stampin' Up! products. First up is a glassine treat bag and tag. This is from the Googlie Ghouls kit. The mummy is stamped and is from the Googlie Ghouls stamp set. I used daubers to put the orange, green and black dots on the bag.
Last, I used the Sizzix Petite Pocket Bigz Die to create this little pencil pocket. I embossed the pockets with the Spider Web embossing folder and highlighted the embossing with white ink. The ribbon is gumball green. The stamp is also from the Toxic Treats set and I used the extra-large tag punch on it. I'm thinking the regular size Laffy Taffy would fit perfectly in this if you wanted to change it up instead of putting pens or pencils in it.
Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my projects. Next on the hop is Sharon. Thanks for looking and be sure to come back Sunday to see what other Halloween tricks or treats I've concocted! I've got a couple of projects completed and might come up with more. I'm taking my dad to an antique car swap meet. No telling what sort of inspiration I'll find there. Have a great weekend!
Jackie - love your bag, love your hat and love your pencil pouch - I love doing bags - so I might do something like that soon! Very nice projects - lots of hard work and well worth it! Thanks for the hop - it is so much fun to see what others are creating these days! Have a great week!
