Officially Summer Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of The Scrapoholic's Officially Summer Blog Hop.  You should have come to my blog from Sarah.  Hope everyone had a great first day of summer yesterday.  We got a little relief from the relentless heat we've been having here in Oklahoma, thank goodness!

I love reading the comments you all are posting.  I'm always flattered when someone wants to "scraplift" an idea from me.  Please feel free to do so anytime.  If you're a Facebook junkie like me, "like" SVG Cuts page and check out the great projects posted from their cut files.  They are absolutely incredible.  The pieces on the dimensional projects go together so easily.

I had computer issues yesterday and had to take the one I usually work on to get fixed.  My project for today is a quickie.

A pinwheel for the Fourth of July.  Once again, the cut file came from SVGCuts.com.  This one is actually a freebie from the blog there.  I just love the instructional videos they make.  I'm a visual person and don't think I'd ever figure out how to put some of these projects together without actually seeing someone do it first.  I guess I was being too picky because after three stores, I didn't find any double-sided Patriotic paper I liked.  I cut the pieces on white cardstock and then used a set of clear stamps I bought from Oriental Trading a few years ago.  The ink is Staz On in Azure and Blazing Red.  Once I get my computer back, I think I'll work on creating my own digital version of Patriotic paper and try another pinwheel.  I got a new Epson wide format printer that arrived last Friday and I haven't had the chance to use it yet.

I hope everyone has a great day today.  Thanks for stopping by to see  my project.  Next on the blog hop is Abby.  Enjoy the rest of the hop!
